Emma coloured this specially for me yesterday. She spent some time being very careful to finish it just right. Great job Emma! Emma also thinks we should have a colouring page contest. I think maybe we will have a best Katie drawing contest and the winner will receive a free Katie doll which will be ready for purchase in May.
Clay and Nevaeh - February, 2010

Moving Forward - January, 2010
So after pondering over the making of the Katie doll, i decided to try and mock one up. I ended up ruining a pair of track pants and old t-shirt, pillow case and stuffing. After many attempts i think i have something i can call a doll. I took it around to test it out and had many kids hang on and not let go or not want to give back. This i call a good sign. I also had adults think it's adorable - i take that as a good sign as well. I took a picture and sent it along with spec's on size etc. to a supplier who makes dolls. I hope to hear next week. I know it's going to cost but i think i'm ready to take that step forward. If i want Clay and Katie to move ahead i need to initiate it. But i have to tell you....I'm a wee bit scared!
Clay on the Degrassi Show - September, 2009
Clay had the opportunity to be on the Degrassi Show for their season premiere back in Sept. I have been told that the cast and crew love Clay, they take Clay on their bus tours and if something goes wrong, its always Clay's fault.
