Created by Toronto artist Anna Narday, Clay and Katie® books are a series your children will love from the time they are infants up until they are reading on their own!
Children have a wonderful time helping Katie find Clay and the simple text makes the books a great learning tool for beginner readers. Your child can learn to read along while helping Katie search for her little friend!
Currently there are eleven books in the series with two more in development. The books are sold individually and in gift sets or choose one that comes with a Clay doll or Katie doll!
Clay
The mischievous hero. But just what is Clay? Clay is meant to spark a
child’s imagination – he can be a dog, a cat, a bug, an alien, or any other
creature a young boy or girl might believe in. One thing is certain: he may have a habit of getting into trouble, but he’s absolutely devoted to his best friend, Katie. 8.5” tall, made of soft flannel and terry cloth.
Katie
The spunky heroine. Children identify with her inquisitive nature and
boundless imagination. Who better to teach Clay everything there is to
know about being young at heart? Katie is 14” tall with a removable
yellow shirt.
The books can be divided into three specific age ranges...although...fun for all ages.
